04 May Coeliac Awareness Week 2017 – Live Well Gluten Free
Here at Manna Kitchen we try our best to make sure that every one is catered for.
As some of you may know it is Coeliac Awareness week which is between the 8th – 14th of May.
For those that may not know. Coeliac disease is a lifelong autoimmune condition which is triggered by an intolerance to gluten. Gluten is a protein found in wheat, rye and barley.
Coeliacs still have difficulty finding simple lunch-time food and that’s why here at Manna Kitchen Trentham we always ensure we have a range of gluten-free options on our menu.
On a daily basis we offer a selection of gluten-free cakes, main meals and hot and cold drinks to help keep you going during your visit to Trentham.
Did you know our ‘Soup of the Day’ can be served with a gluten-free roll? Choices range from favourites such as Tomato & Basil, Carrot & Coriander, Country Vegetable to our Butternut Squash with Spiced Parsnip. Perfect for anytime of the day!
Gluten-free desserts are often neglected on the menu but we have a great selection of delicious cakes which are made from rich flour and completely gluten-free.
