Badbury Rings Point to Point

What a gorgeous day, anyone would have thought it was June not Feb.


We had a great ring side stall so could see all the horses parading whilst feeding the passers by with brownies, tarts and our new raspberry & white choc muffins see pic.

Nice and busy.

Lovely spring-like morning. We had the usual meals, cheesecakes, bad boy brownies but it was the choc torte with caramel & toasted hazelnut slice that proved very popular again.

Did you know that all our cheesecakes and the chocolate torte are available in gluten-free versions?


Because we make everything from scratch it means we make all our own biscuit bases for the puds and it enables us to make a seperate batch using a rice -flour for the base which works really well and tastes great.

Love is in the air!

A lovely day for a Farmers' Market and the turn out was good.


We were selling our Valentines goodies - heart shaped versions of our award winning desserts, lime cheesecake, choc torte and our ultimate chocolate brownie, see pic. All sold out. Who said romance is dead!

Poundbury FM 2012 - it's a cold one!

and it officially snowed, if only a few flakes.

As a stall holder you expect the Jan and Feb markets to be cold so January's pleasant climate came as a welcome surprise. However when I arrived at Poundbury this morning it was   -10oC brrrr. I was armed with multiple layers of thermals, a flask of hot black coffee and the pièce de résistance a hot water bottle!

Manna Organic becomes Manna Kitchen

We have changed our name not our principles!

We have decided not to renew our organic certification so as of February 2012 we are called Manna Kitchen.

Rest assured we are still using the finest quality ingredients in our dishes and desserts, still making all our own stocks, curry pastes, pastry and biscuit bases for our cheesecakes.
