Understandably there is a great deal of coverage in the press at the moment about horse meat being used instead of beef and pork in ready-meals resulting in huge quantities of products being removed from supermarket shelves and destroyed, so we thought we would put your mind at rest with the quality of the meat we use in the Manna Kitchen.


All the premium, free-range beef, pork and lamb in our meals is sourced from local Dorset Farms.

  • Beef from Longlands Farm, Little Bredy who own and run Bride Valley Farm Shop in Abbostbury
  • Pork from Downhouse Farm at Eype
  • Lamb & Pork/Bacon from Long Barrow Farm, Long Bredy.


Each delivery can be traced back to the exact animal from a specific Dorset Farm ensuring you have complete peace of mind about the provenance of all the meat contained in our dishes. If you have any further queries please do not hesitate in contacting us for more information.

Did you know that all our cheesecakes and the chocolate torte are available in gluten-free versions?


Because we make everything from scratch it means we make all our own biscuit bases for the puds and it enables us to make a seperate batch using a rice -flour for the base which works really well and tastes great.
