David Coulter & Sally Hibbert opened Manna Kitchen (formerly Manna Organic) in 2004 after relocating their family from London to Dorset.
The initial business focussed on the production of their award winning frozen ready meals and desserts. The emphasis was on making great tasting dishes in small batches using quality local ingredients without the added sugar or excessive amounts of salt often found in the mass produced factory-made versions. Convenience without the compromise one might say!
Manna kitchen today is still all about simple food, quality ingredients and fantastic flavours. This good food philosophy has taken the business into lots of different catering avenues from cafes, to event & corporate catering, to contract catering and festival catering alongside the original ready-meal production. So whether you are enjoying one of their all day breakfast baps with a free-range egg and locally made butchers sausage from the take-away café in Crossways, or one of the Great Taste award winning tarts at Discovery Court Café in Poole, or a handmade quiche and salad box at a festival, or a freshly prepared business lunch delivered to your offices, or a Manna Kitchen shepherd’s pie in front of the TV – it will always taste decidedly delicious!
